Despite only knowing Ben for a very short time, Megan has shown determination to keep his memory going. Along with her family they have organised various fundraising events for the BGF.
For the latest venture they organised an auction, a raffle, BBQ, a bouncy castle and a live band – they managed to raise over £1000 which is fantastic.
Special thanks to Laura, Justin, Megan and family for their support.
Megan has been racing karts for a number of years and has rapidly advanced through the ranks. With each level comes more expense in competing and, while the performance level of the machinery needs to be the best, so too does the safety equipment.
Earlier this year, Megan applied to Foundation for a grant to get the safety gear that she needed. The grant was approved and, thanks to the BGF, she was able to get a new Arai helmet and a new Freem race suit in her ST Racing Team colours.
